Former U.S. President Donald Trump recently voiced his concerns over Apple’s increasing iPhone manufacturing activities in India. Speaking publicly, Trump revealed he had a candid conversation with Apple CEO Tim Cook, urging him to reconsider expanding production outside the United States.

Trump said, “I had a little problem with Tim Cook yesterday. I said to him, ‘Tim, you’re my friend… but now I hear you’re building all over India. I don’t want you building in India.’” His comments align with his broader agenda to promote “Made in USA” manufacturing and bring jobs back to American soil.

Apple has been steadily ramping up its India operations as part of a strategic plan to diversify its supply chain and reduce reliance on China. Currently, India accounts for about 20% of Apple’s global iPhone production, valued at roughly $22 billion.
