No More 15-Minute Meals! Zomato Shuts Down ‘Everyday’ & ‘Quick’ Services

May 5, 2025

Zomato, led by CEO Deepinder Goyal, has officially pulled the plug on its 15-minute food delivery services – Zomato Everyday and Quick.

•Why the shutdown?
Low demand
Restaurant infrastructure not ready
No clear path to profit without compromising quality.

We didn’t see enough value or demand to keep it going,” said Goyal.
Despite a 64% revenue jump, Zomato’s parent company Eternal reported a 78% drop in profit this quarter, mainly due to a 68% surge in expenses.

Zomato Everyday was aimed at offering homely meals near office hubs, but the company realized it’s only a niche need.

With rivals like Swiggy’s  Snacc, Blinkit Bistro, and Zepto Cafe entering the quick food game, Zomato gave it a shot only to realize the model wasn’t sustainable just yet.
